Mount Colombina, with its altitude of 1459m, located on the north-western side of Lake Iseo is a breathtaking balcony, immersed in the greenery of nature. From its top, overlooking Lake Iseo, you can enjoy an amazing view that embraces the magical panorama of the Lake and Orobie mountains, up to the farthest outlines of Adamello. Legend has it that on particularly clear and bright days we can even spot the sparkle of the Madonnina of the Cathedral of Milan.
The starting point of this hike is the village of Bossico (860m), not far from Lovere, which through forests of conifers, meadows and alpine pastures reaches the hill of San Fermo and then climbs the final ridge that leads to the cross of the summit of Mount Colombina. The descent, along a ring route, runs between pastures and small villages back to Bossico, after passing a total difference in altitude of about 600m for a total of 12 km of development.
A reachable peak and an excursion of medium difficulty will allow you to enjoy the silence and atmosphere of authentic places.
